Luanne Arredondo | Rotary Public Image Coordinator | Email

Luanne is a 4th Generation Rotarian, a Past District Governor of District 5300, Paul Harris Society member, and a charter member of the Greater San Gabriel Valley Rotary Club. Professionally, Luanne owns and operates a change management consultancy specializing in mergers and acquisitions, turn-around operations, start-up operations, technology and film development. Luanne is recently retired from television production where she co-hosted an international talk show focusing on East-West relations and cultural bridging. Utilizing her skills in operations during the Covid-19 pandemic, Luanne orchestrated the startup of a state certified day care center specializing in early learning development and school readiness for children ages 0-5 as well as the development of an early learning tool kit for parents in six primary languages.

Luanne holds double B.S. degrees in Biology and Corporate Psychology, and a double M.B.A in Finance and Business Administration with an emphasis on operations. Luanne is affiliated with several organizations where she holds senior leadership and board positions.

Luanne is married with three children and three grandchildren. She is proud to say that her hubby, Moises, and her three children are Rotarians. Her eldest grandson (age 27) is also a Rotarian. Her one and three year-old grandkids are Rotarians in waiting.

David Bobanick | Rotary Public Image Coordinator | Email

David has more than two decades of experience in non-profit leadership and management. As executive director of Rotary First Harvest – a program of Rotary District 5030, David and his team have significantly expanded the organization’s strategic impact of developing and expanding programs to reduce hunger and food waste at the local, national and international levels.

David studied Communications at Penn State University and has completed the Non-Profit Executive Leadership Institute at the Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington as well as Executive Leadership Institutes at Stanford University’s School of Social Innovation. David has guided numerous non-profit organizations and Rotary clubs in the development of long-range strategic plans and serves as a board officer for four local and statewide non-profit organizations.

David is a member and past President of the Rotary Club of Mercer Island and has served as a District Trainer, Assistant Governor, and as an Assistant Rotary Public Information Coordinator for Zones 25/26.

Arturo Barrio | Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator | Email

Arturo is a third generation Rotarian. He joined Rotary in 2016 and is the past president of the El Paso Camino Real Rotary Club. He serves as the Public Image Chair for District 5520.

Arturo graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) with a degree in Business Administration; he also has a Masters in Applied Public Policy from the International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies of Madrid. He currently serves as Director of Collaboration and Stakeholder Development at UTEP. Previously, he served as the Senior Advisor to the President of UTEP on Mexico and Latin America.

He worked at the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2003 to 2015 where he held different positions. His last post was at the Mexican Mission to the Organization of American States, where he oversaw Economic and Cooperation Affairs.

Arturo served as Chairman of the Committee on Border Relations of the City of El Paso from April 2019 to January 2021 and was invited to serve in the Economic Recovery Task Force for the City of Juarez. He is a board member of the Archer Center in Washington, DC, and is a member of the Advisory Council of the Mexican Association for International Education.

He has taken several courses and diplomas in public policy, democracy and government in different academic institutions such as the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Columbia University and ITESM with Harvard University, among others.

Anabella Bonfa | Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator | Email

Anabella Bonfa is a business litigation attorney with Wellman & Warren LLP. Anabella is a Past Membership Chair and Public Image/Social Media for District 5320. She was the “Rotarian of the Year” award recipient for District 5320 in 2015-2016 for her work increasing membership and promoting club public image throughout the district. Anabella is the 2013-14 recipient of the Rotary International Vocational Service Leadership Award for her work mentoring new lawyers and young professionals. Anabella is a proud member of Irvine Rotary, a club that has won 4 Best Club awards from District 5320 for the last 6 years.

Rodney Gullatte Jr. | Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator | Email

Rodney is the Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs. He is a community leader, US Air Force Veteran, certified ethical hacker, certified chief information security officer, and certified network defense architect.

Rodney is the CEO of Firma IT Solutions which is a managed IT and cybersecurity service provider for businesses. With a background in information technology and cybersecurity that includes Department of Defense, retail, healthcare, casinos, utility companies and more, Rodney has developed Firma IT Solutions to bring enterprise technology solutions for small businesses. Rodney has multiple affiliations in the public and private sector where he currently serves in a multitude of leadership positions. His knowledge and expertise have earned him recognitions with perpetual growth in his sphere of influence to help others succeed. This philosophy of “Givers Gain” has brought him success in business, his community, and Rotary.

His latest accomplishments are many. Notably, he is the winner of the 2020 Mayor’s Young Leaders Award in Technology and Sustainability, winner of the 2020 Front Range Power Connectors Networker of the Year, founder of the Colorado Springs Black Business Network and the winner of Small Business Week 2019 Veteran Business Owner of the Year.

Marguerite Padovani | Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator | Email

Marguerite Padovani is a member of the Rotary Club of Cupertino and Rotary District 5170 Public Image Chair, 2020-22. She is a results-driven communications professional who specialized in high technology markets for over 25 years in the software and internet industry. She is experienced in advising senior level management and in working with marketing professionals at all levels.

Marguerite is a proactive leader in developing and implementing both pre- and post-IPO corporate, product and partner communications programs across all media. She is particularly adept in leveraging her strong relationships with key business journalists, trade editors and industry analysts in the internet, ecommerce and business software arenas.

Being a Rotarian has been a part of her life where she is able to work supporting local communities and using her skills to broaden visibility for the great things Rotary has accomplished and does.

Randy Rascati | Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator | Email

A member of the RC of Sparks, Nevada, Randy began his Rotary career in 2001 when his friend/co-worker asked him to join the Sparks Club.  Randy served as their Club President in 2006-2007.  He is currently serving as the District Public Image Chairperson for District 5190. Additionally, he has been a team member of the district conference planning committee since 2010.

Originally from Goleta, California, Randy attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and graduated with a degree in Packaging and Graphic Communications. After college, he moved to the Intermountain area of Utah/Colorado to start his career in the packaging/forest products industry, spending the majority of his time in management and sales in the Reno, Nevada area. Now retired, Randy is a member of the Paul Harris Society.

Randy and Andrea reside in Reno and have enjoyed 25 years of marriage together. His hobbies include photography, travel, and running(most of the time). Capturing photos of Rotarians being “People of Action” is especially rewarding as it’s nice to see the passion Rotarians have for helping others.

Caleb Summerfelt | Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator | Email

Caleb Summerfelt is the Chief Information Officer and Director of Acquisitions at Superior Systems Inc, this fabrication/engineering company designs and makes everything from specialized screws to entire industrial complexes. Recently, he started a design company NSB Design Works / Bowerbirdling Design, a full design firm which methodology focuses specifically on supporting each client with estimating, designing, project management, fabrication, and even field installation. We work with all types of material, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, composites, digital media, and various other materials.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, a Master’s in Architecture, a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management Technology, and a Ph.D. He also holds Washington State University Certificates in Constraints Management, Project Management, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management as well as being Jonah Certified.

Caleb is a past-president and is the District 5020, the creator of District 5020 Magazine – Unite District 5020, and the District 5020 Public Image / Communications Chair. He is a Paul Harris Society Member, Major Donor Level 2, and a member of the Bequest and Legacy Society.

Michael Soden | Technology Adviser | Email

Michael first joined Rotary in 2003 and is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Green Valley, Henderson Nevada, He is a two time President. The first time was in Central Virginia, District 7600, Brandermill (Midlothian), 2008-2009. The second time was for his current club Green Valley, District 5300, 2013-2014. During his year as President of Green Valley, the club was named the #1 medium size club in District 5300, received the RI Presidential Citation with Distinction and the club became a 100% Paul Harris Fellow club. Michael was honored in receiving Rotarian of the year by his respective clubs on three separate occasions.

Michael currently serves as District Communications Officer (DCO) for District 7600 and District 5300. Is the District 5300 Grants chair 2017-2020. He has been serving on the SWR PETS committee since 2015 as a committee chair for the Website/Social Media/USummit.   Additionally, Michael is a Paul Harris Fellow +8.

Michael is the owner/founder of Harcalf Agency. A web development firm since 2001. He lives with his wife Sylvia in Henderson, Nevada. They have one daughter (Alycia) and two grandsons (Aden and Alejandro).
