Host Hospitality Activities

We’re excited to open registration for Host Hospitality activities at the 2015 Institute at the Hilton Waikoloa.

Are you a golfer?

Join your family and friends for a round of golf at the Hilton Waikoloa Beach Course on Thursday morning, October 29. For an outstanding Big Island golf experience, the Beach Course truly has it all: an interesting mix of challenging holes with birdie opportunities, spectacular scenery and a layout strategic enough to challenge the pros, while gentle enough to allow even the casual player an enjoyable day on the course. Don’t forget your camera!

Just have fun on Sunday afternoon, golfing the Hilton Waikoloa Kings’ Course.
Carved into rugged lava fields from ancient flows, the Kings’ Course has been called a surreal golf experience. Designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish: it demands respect and delivers rewards.

How about island tours with Hawaiian Rotarians?

The Volcano & East Island Rotary Hospitality Bus tour is on Wednesday October 28. But this is not just another tour. We call it a Rotary hospitality tour. PDG Steve Yoshida and Noko along with members of the East Island clubs will ride on the bus to tell you about life and Rotary on the Island. We will stop off to see some Rotary projects and have a reception with the East Island clubs at the Hilo Yacht Club. Volcano Rotarians will be on hand to show you the volcano. (Leaves hotel at 10 a.m. $99 + tax per person).

Then on Sunday November 11 visit to a world famous Kona coffee plantation and the cultural sites built during King Kamehameha’s rule. Steve, Noko and the West Island Rotarians will be on the bus to show you their projects and talk about what it’s like to live in Kona and vicinity. (Leaves hotel at 1 p.m. $59 + tax per person).
