By making <\/span><span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">these connections and sharing information about existing programs and best practices, we aim <\/span><span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">to strengthen Rotary youth programs in the 30 districts in the Big West Zones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW WE CAN HELP:<\/strong> <span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">Our Task Force:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Connects youth leaders in our 30 districts<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Gathers and catalogs RYS programs and leaders\u2019 information<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Identifies model RYS programs to showcase<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Develops an accessible RYS resource repository<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Sponsors virtual and in-person gatherings where participants can share best practices<\/p>\n<p><b>VIRTUAL CONFERENCES<\/b>: <span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">Click <a href=\"https:\/\/rotaryzone2627.box.com\/s\/bbxomfzo1ote8zqfk1decxwdycrvnjlg\">HERE<\/a> for a list of recordings of our past Virtual Youth Conferences <\/span><span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">available to view. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>WHO WE ARE:<\/strong> <span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">Our steering committee, comprised of nine Rotarians from around the Big West <\/span><span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">Zones, offers guidance and recommendations to the Zones 26 &amp; 27 Rotary International <\/span><span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">Director. He most recently worked as <span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">a high school teacher at De La Salle High School in Concord CA, after working for 3 years at <\/span><span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">Catholic Charities Santa Clara County supporting the Community Action Poverty <\/span><span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">Simulation program as well as serving as the youth and young adult coordinator at a 5,000- <\/span><span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">family parish in San Jose, CA. Chris recently earned a master\u2019s degree in clinical psychology at <\/span><span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">Notre Dame de Namur University and a Graduate Diploma in Canon Law through Saint Paul <\/span><span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">University. In 2019, he graduated with a doctoral degree in education from the University of <\/span><span style=\"background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\">San Francisco.
