Marny has been a member of the Rotary Club of Wheat Ridge, CO (District 5450) since 2011. <\/span>She has served as club president (2015<\/span>–<\/span>16), as club secretary (2017<\/span>–<\/span> to present), and as District <\/span>5450 PolioPlus Committee Chair (2017 to present). She is a Paul Har<\/span>ris Fellow, Major Donor <\/span>Level 1, member of the PolioPlus Society, and member of the Bequest Society.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Marny<\/span> grew up in <\/span>South Dakota, and graduated from South Dakota State University and the University of Arizona<\/span>–<\/span>Tucson College of Medicine. She is a mostly retir<\/span>ed family medicine physician who founded a <\/span>post<\/span>–<\/span>polio clinic in Denver in 1985 and she continues to consult with polio survivors. She has <\/span>served and continues to serve on the board of directors for Colorado Post<\/span>–<\/span>Polio Organization <\/span>and Post<\/span>–<\/span>Polio Health Int<\/span>ernational. She is the founder of the Human Gait Institute, a non<\/span>–<\/span>profit <\/span>organization, that provides education to potential and current users of leg braces (orthoses).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

\"mikeMike Crosby<\/span> | End Polio Now Coordinator<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
Mike<\/span> is a member of the Rotary Club of Brentwood, California<\/span> in<\/span> District 5160. He is a past club <\/span>president, Rotarian of the Year for his club, and past Assistant District Governor. He is a member <\/span>of the PolioPlus Society, Major Donor for the Paul Harris Society<\/span>,<\/span> and a Bequest Society <\/span>member.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2022<\/span> Mike<\/span> was selected<\/span> by Rotary International as one of 40 regional members worldwide <\/span>who<\/span> went<\/span> above and beyond to help end polio.<\/span> He and his wife<\/span> (and Rotarian)<\/span> Marsha Brown <\/span>traveled to a slum area of India where they vaccinated children for polio and other diseases. <\/span>Mike and<\/span> Marsha later went to Uganda, where they delivered 265 wheelchairs to polio survivors <\/span>and others in need.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>\n

Mike\u2019s life has been centered around service.<\/span> He is an Eagle Scout<\/span> and<\/span> a life member of the <\/span>International Fellowship of Scouting Rotarians.<\/span> He is also<\/span> a retired USAF Lt Col<\/span>onel<\/span>.<\/span> He was a<\/span>
the communications squadron commander, deputy Base Commander for Edwards Air Force Base, <\/span>CA, and the Commander of the Air Force Production Flight Test Installation in Palmdale, CA.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
