WHAT WE DO:<\/strong> Your Endowment\/Major Gift Advisers team provides support and assistance to districts in fund development for The Rotary Foundation, specifically major gifts and bequests. We work collaboratively with TRF Major Gifts Officers, RRFCs, Area of Focus Major Gifts Initiative committees, and district leaders in identification, cultivation, solicitation, and donor stewardship.<\/p>\n

HOW WE CAN HELP:<\/strong> Your Endowment\/Major Gifts Advisers Team provides districts with tailored guidance on Endowment and Major Gifts including assistance in developing fundraising strategies for encouraging major gifts, planned gifts, and bequest commitments. We provide strategic consulting to support major gift planning, endowment programs and million dollar dinners. We are available for on- site training of district teams, support of district initiatives, events, and interaction with individual donors within the districts.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Marge<\/span> Cole is a<\/span> n<\/span>ative Ca<\/span>lifornian who grew up in the Los Angeles area.<\/span> She graduated from <\/span>University<\/span> of California<\/span>, Santa Barba<\/span>ra<\/span> and<\/span> earned a<\/span> master\u2019s<\/span> degree<\/span> at<\/span> Syracuse University <\/span>in <\/span>New York<\/span>. She<\/span> returned<\/span> to C<\/span>a<\/span>lifor<\/span>n<\/span>ia to teach high school<\/span> and<\/span> serve<\/span>d as a<\/span> Principal and Director<\/span>
of Student Services before retiring in 2004.<\/span> S<\/span>he joined the Santee\/Lakeside Rotary Club<\/span> in <\/span>District 5340<\/span> i<\/span>n<\/span> 1996<\/span>, serving as club president in 2002<\/span>–<\/span>23<\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Marge has held many differen<\/span>t Distri<\/span>ct positions including,<\/span> GSE<\/span> Team Lea<\/span>der and<\/span> Chair; <\/span>D<\/span>istrict <\/span>Rotary Fou<\/span>ndatio<\/span>n Chair<\/span>;<\/span> Ambassadorial Scholar Sponsor; District Governor (2009<\/span>–<\/span>1<\/span>0);<\/span> Council <\/span>on Legislation R<\/span>epres<\/span>entative<\/span>;<\/span> Youth<\/span> Service Chair<\/span>;<\/span> Rota<\/span>r<\/span>y Grants Committee Chair<\/span>;<\/span> District <\/span>534<\/span>0<\/span> Major Gifts\/Bequest Society Committee<\/span>;<\/span> Dis<\/span>tri<\/span>ct Rotary F<\/span>riendship Exc<\/span>hange Committee <\/span>Chair;<\/span> and<\/span> Advisor for<\/span> the City He<\/span>ights Rotaract Club<\/span>.<\/span> At<\/span> the Zone level,<\/span> Marge<\/span> c<\/span>h<\/span>air<\/span>ed<\/span> the <\/span>Southern Califor<\/span>n<\/span>ia\/Nevada<\/span> PETS<\/span> (now Southwest PETS)<\/span> in<\/span> 2011<\/span>.<\/span> S<\/span>he<\/span> served<\/span> on<\/span> s<\/span>everal <\/span>committees for<\/span> Far West Zone<\/span>s<\/span> Institu<\/span>tes<\/span> and<\/span> served<\/span> as Regional<\/span> Rotary Foundation Co<\/span>o<\/span>rdi<\/span>na<\/span>tor <\/span>(RRFC) for Zon<\/span>e 2<\/span>6<\/span> from<\/span> 2016<\/span> to 2<\/span>019.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

\"\"<\/strong>Jayne Hulbert<\/b>\u00a0| Endowment \/ Major Gift Adviser<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jayne Hulbert has been an active member of Rotary International for nearly 30 years and is the Zone 27 Endowment\/Major Gift Adviser for 2025-2028. Jayne was Governor of District 5150 in 2018 \u2013 2019 and District Rotary Foundation Chair from 2019 \u2013 2023. Jayne was the 2024 recipient of The Rotary Foundation\u2019s Regional Service Award for a Polio-Free World. Jayne and her husband, Gene Duffy, provided the precious two drops of polio vaccine to children in India. Jayne is passionate about The Rotary Foundation\u2019s grants and giving opportunities. Jayne especially enjoys fundraising, which has resulted in significant increases in donations to The Rotary Foundation. Jayne and her husband are members of the Arch Klumph and Legacy Societies. Jayne has been featured in Rotary Magazine and Rotary Voices and retired as President of a nationwide commercial mortgage banking firm.<\/p>\n<\/div>
