A member of the RC of Fullerton, CA. Dan joined Rotary in 2007 when he was seeking an organization that would allow him to pursue his interest in enriching the lives of those less fortunate than his own. Rotary’s Service Above Self motto and international reach spoke to him and convinced him this was the vehicle to Do More Good in the world. Dan served as Club Youth Chair, then Club President in 2016-17. He went on to be the District Youth Chair in 2018-20 and District Governor in 2022-23. As DGN he created and chaired the District’s Project Shield program that produced and delivered over 90,000 face shields to the medical community at the start of COVID within a 2-month period. Originally from Rochester NY, Dan spent his early professional career in the Semiconductor Industry ultimately as International Marketing Director for Kayex Corporation and then moved to CA to become a partner in a family business known as PacMin focused on international sales in the Aerospace business, and currently serves as the President and co-owner. Dan and his wife Susan, who is also a Rotarian and an HR executive, have 5 children between them and enjoy outdoor adventures and travel, and finding ways to assist others by growing Rotary.
