WHAT WE DO: Your Rotary Coordinators’ Team goal is both to grow Rotary and to strengthen districts and clubs. From strategic planning, community assessments, integration of Alumni, and Rotaractors to launching new innovative clubs, we are well prepared with numerous tools and resources. We are at your service via online learning and meetings, onsite events, and two-way communication. We strive to listen and deliver our support.

HOW WE CAN HELP: Your Rotary Coordinators’ Team has skilled Rotarians ready to support Governors, District Membership Chairs and other District Leaders with launching new clubs, increasing engagement and retention, club culture, and community assessments, Rotaract support, and integration, developing Membership Action Plans and Strategic Plans.

Meet your Rotary Coordinators

John Chase | Rotary Coordinator

John lives in Henderson, NV with his wife Elizabeth –they have two adult children, Ashley and Meghan.

John joined Rotary in 2001 as an opportunity to serve his community. He served as president of the Rotary Club of Boulder City during the 2004 –2005 Rotary year. John has been recognized as Rotarian of Year, served Executive Assistant Governor, Assistant Governor, and RYLA Chair three times. He was also instrumental in the establishment of the District’s first Satellite Club. John served as District Governor for District 5300 throughout the 2018 –2019 Rotary year where two new Rotary Clubs and one Rotaract Club was chartered. More recently John served as chairperson for the Big West New Club Development Task Force during the 2021–2022 Rotary year.

John and Elizabeth own and operate Amerisent Insurance –Boulder City, an independent insurance brokerage office. John retired from the Boulder City Police Department in 2014 at the rank of Deputy Chief.

Jennifer Deroin | Rotary Coordinator

Jennifer is the Zone 27 Rotary Coordinator, 2021-2023. Jennifer started her Rotary journey in September of 2007 with the Rotary Club of Nampa, compelled by the interest of community involvement. She served as Club President in 2013-2014.Her club was awarded the Presidential Citation that year from Rotary International President Ron Burton, and they were recognized for membership and foundation achievement at the District Conference that year. In 2017, she founded the College of Idaho Rotaract Club.

In 2018-2019, she served as the District Governor for Rotary District 5400, with a focus on Membership Development, Public Image, and Leadership Development. Her passion is helping clubs focus on club vibrancy, relevancy, and innovation, to ensure the vitality and sustainability of Rotary Clubs throughout our paired Zones.

Professionally, Jennifer is the Chief Operating Officer of The Nichols Accounting Group, located in Idaho and Oregon –a tax and accounting firm. She is a Certified Behaviors Analyst and focuses on performance management, working with teams to help them improve outcomes through strategic planning and the power of people.

Jennifer is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, a Paul Harris Society Member, and a Bequest Society Member. Her husband John is also a Paul Harris Fellow and a Rotarian. They live in Meridian, Idaho where they enjoy their five adult children and their expanding brood of grandbabies.
