SANDI SCHWARTZ

Sandi Schwartz | Chief Operating Officer

Sandi Schwartz is a Registered Nurse who joined Rotary in 1994 because of her work in community education for a local home health and hospice agency. She quickly fell in love with the service and camaraderie that Rotary provided.

A major donor to The Rotary Foundation, Sandi and her husband Richard, also a Rotarian, relocated from California to Utah in 2020 and the last thing she worried about was making friends in the area. She just transferred her membership in Rotary to a club in her new hometown. A Past District Governor, Sandi has worked at the Zone level over the last few years – leading operations for several Zone Institutes, Administrator for four years with the Governor Education program, and this year Administrative Coordinator for Zones 26/27. She will fill the Chief Operating Officer position in 2026-27 so that RIDE John can focus on preparing for his director position and she will remain in the COO position for his tenure as Director.

Her healthcare background has proven to be of benefit as she is the Camp Nurse for District 5240 and 5420’s respective RYLA’s and a Cadre in Disease Prevention and Treatment. She and her husband Richard have a blended family of 7 biological and bonus children. And they are proud grandparents to 12 really great kiddos. They love all things sports, outdoor hiking, and cooking.
