The Rotary Foundation

The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.

The Rotary Foundation transforms your gifts into projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. As the charitable arm of Rotary, we tap into a global network of Rotarians who invest their time, money, and expertise into our priorities, such as eradicating polio and promoting peace.

Foundation grants empower Rotarians to approach challenges such as poverty, illiteracy, and malnutrition with sustainable solutions that leave a lasting impact.
Strong financial oversight, a stellar charity rating, and a unique funding model mean that we make the very most of your contribution. Give and become a part of Rotary’s life-changing work!

WHAT WE DO

Our team of experienced Rotarians is here to help you reach your fundraising and grant goals. We are able to assist with any challenges you may have with The Rotary Foundation. We can provide you with easy access to useful resources, speakers, million-dollar dinners, END POLIO NOW celebrations, fund-raisers and endowment, and major gift opportunities.

HOW WE CAN HELP

We help with District and Global Grant applications and assist with Community Assessment plans. Let us help facilitate your District’s Strategic Plan to work with The Rotary Foundation. We offer help in training DRFC members and club Rotary Foundation Chairs. We can help in sharing best practices with our knowledge of how our Zone’s 30 Districts operate.

bev reedBev Reed | Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator
Servant Leader is a term that well describes PDG Bev Reed. In 2018 Bev retired from a 38year career with the YMCA. Whether a Program Director or a CEO of an Association, Bev has embraced the need to serve in her community. One key accomplishment was being part of an Executive Team in a $40 Million fundraising and construction project of two new facilities in Spokane, Washington. In addition, Bev continues to be a National YMCA Faculty trainer in the areas of Volunteerism, Fundraising and Leading & Coaching Others.

Her love for service carried over in her involvement in Rotary. Bev joined the Aurora Northwest Rotary Club in 2004. She provided leadership as club president in 201112, Assistant Governor 20122014, District Governor 201819. Her passion for training continued as a facilitator of RLI since 2009, PETS Instructor and coach for six years and currently serves as the PETS OPCOM Chair 202021. In addition to serving Zone 27 as an ARRFC, Bev was on the 2019 Zone 26/27 GETS/GNATS faculty team and was recently appointed as cochair for the 20212022 Zone Institutes.

Bev feels the success of being a great fundraiser is being a great active listener, asking a potential donor to share their “Why” story and find ways to connect the donor to their passion. It is all about relationships Yes, it is that simple. Bev and her husband Bill are Major Donors to The Rotary Foundation and are members of both the Paul Harris Society and the Bequest Society.
