MIKE DRIEBE
Mike Driebe currently serves as Administrative Coordinator for Zones 26 & 27. He served as District 5300 Governor in 2024-2025. Mike also serves as Chairman of the Los Angeles County Fair Association Board of Directors.
Mike became President of USC Arcadia Hospital Foundation (previously Methodist Hospital Foundation) in the fall of 2009 and retired in May 2023, concluding a 25-year career as a fund development professional. He also served for more than 35 years in a variety of volunteer leadership roles.
Mike holds a Master of Science degree in Leadership and Management from the University of La Verne with dual concentrations in Strategic and Non-Profit Management. He became a Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) in 2005 and holds a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University.
Mike was a National Committee Member from 1997 to 2005 for ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, and served as a member of its Board of Directors and Governors from 2005 to 2010. Mike joined the Rotary Club of Pomona, California club in 1994, and served as club president in 2002-2003. In 2010, he joined the Rotary Club of San Marino, California, and was recognized as San Marino’s Rotarian of the Year in 2015. He became that club’s president in 2015-2016.
Prior to becoming Governor, Mike served his district as Leadership Trainer, Public Relations Chair, Interact Chair, Teen Leadership Camp Chair, Rotary Youth Leadership Award Committee Member and Chair, Multi-District Interact Symposium Chair, Rotary Foundation Committee Chair, Host District Vocational Training Team Committee Chair, Leader of the 2018 Group Cultural Exchange Team to India, Stewardship Sub-Committee Chair, Major Gifts Sub- Committee Chair and as Chair of the 2022 Peace Conference Committee.
Mike and Sylvia met just two weeks after he moved from Virginia. Married in 1985, they currently reside in Pomona, California, and enjoy art, music, food, travel, and frequent trips to Disneyland.
